Triple Check — Terms of Service

1. Overview

Triple Check helps users manage checking behaviors (e.g. verifying if a door was closed) by letting them record checks, notes, and photos for later reference. These Terms explain how you may use the App and what responsibilities you have as a user.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum legal age in your jurisdiction) to use Triple Check. By using the App, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

3. Account registration

To use some features, you must create an account by providing your first name, last name, and email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update it as necessary.

4. Subscription and payments

Some features (such as cloud sync for temporary photos) may require a paid subscription. Payments and subscriptions are managed via RevenueCat and Apple In‑App Purchases.

• Pricing and available plans are displayed in the App.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription from your Apple ID account settings.
• Refunds follow Apple’s App Store policy.

We do not store or handle your payment details directly.

5. User content

You may upload or create content (text, notes, todos, and temporary photos) within the App. You retain ownership of your content.

By using the App, you grant us a limited, non‑exclusive, revocable license to store and display your content solely to provide the App’s functionality. We do not claim ownership of your content and do not use it for advertising.

You agree not to upload or store content that:

• Violates laws or regulations;
• Infringes on others’ rights (e.g. copyright, privacy);
• Contains offensive, violent, or harmful material.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

6. Data storage

Your account data, notes, todos, and photos are stored in Supabase. Temporary photos are encoded and replaced when you upload a new one (only one temporary photo per user is stored at a time). Data security and privacy are described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Intellectual property

All rights, title, and interest in the App (including its design, code, features, and branding) remain the property of Régis Grumberg. You are granted a limited, non‑exclusive, revocable license to use the App for personal, non‑commercial purposes.

You may not:

• Copy, distribute, modify, or reverse engineer the App;
• Use the App in ways that interfere with or damage its operation; and
• Use the App for unlawful purposes.

8. Termination

You may stop using Triple Check at any time and delete your account from the App. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, misuse the service, or act in a way that harms other users or the App.

Upon termination, your right to access the App will end, and we will delete your stored data according to our Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimers

Triple Check is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the App will be error‑free, uninterrupted, or meet your specific needs.

Triple Check is a self‑management aid and is not a substitute for professional medical advice or therapy. Always seek the advice of a qualified health provider for any medical or mental health concerns.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Régis Grumberg shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data or profits, resulting from your use of or inability to use the App.

If you are dissatisfied with the App, your sole remedy is to stop using it.

11. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated versions will be posted in the App and will include a new effective date. Continued use of the App after updates means you accept the revised Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by and interpreted according to the laws of France, without regard to conflict of law principles. If you live elsewhere, you may also have mandatory local consumer protection rights.
